"BÂTISSEURS DE RÊVE"-Journées européennes du Patrimoine

As part of the 42nd edition of the European Heritage Days (Journées Européennes du Patrimoine) on the theme of “architectural heritage”, dive into the history of the major resorts of the Alps with “Bâtisseurs de rêve” (Dream Builders) by director Catherine Dupuis, filmed in 2007.

This documentary by Catherine Dupuis presents the architectural history of the major winter sports resorts that developed throughout the 20th century around mythical locations in the French Alps at different times. Whether it's Chamonix, Megève, Courchevel, Les Arcs or Avoriaz, each resort symbolizes a particular era in mountain leisure, with different styles of construction, through the work of great names in contemporary architecture.
